Auckland Transport engaged Place Creative to develop a creative way to draw pedestrians to Nuffield Street as an alternative thoroughfare to the new Westfield mall from the Newmarket train station. The activation series brought attention to the street and made a case for its potential redevelopment as a place for people, and the precinct's key green space.

Place Creative managed this project end-to-end, including event permitting, health and safety management, building custom street furniture, stakeholder engagement, booking musicians and producing a comprehensive evaluation report.
